Jennifer is a native of Chesapeake Va. She graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1995. She has lived in Camden for 20 years with her husband, two sons, and two labs! Service to the community has always been important to her. She serves on numerous boards and commissions in the area including the board of directors for Food Bank of the Albemarle, Boys and Girls Club, Albermarle Area Association of REALTORS, and the College of the Albemarle Foundation. She was recognized for her community work by being named one of the Elizabeth City Area Chamber of Commerce Women of Excellence in 2016.
After spending more than a decade in the corporate world, she decided to leave and open her own business with her husband. Once she got her business successfully off the ground Jennifer decided to pursue her lifelong true passion, real estate. She bought her first rental property at age 23 and has been in love with real estate ever since. She became a broker with the company in 2019. Jennifer loves working with first-time buyers. She especially likes being able to answer their questions and truly educating them about and helping them navigate the whole process from signing the contract, through all the inspections, securing financing, all the way to the closing table. She is known for her attention to detail and her follow-up skills. Jennifer also has a strong background in commercial leasing and properties. When she is not working she enjoys traveling with her family, spending time at the beach, and attending her boys' sporting events.

As a native of North Carolina, Erin Nixon grew up in Gastonia, NC and now lives and works in Elizabeth City. Her husband Will Nixon, a native to Elizabeth City, is a CPA. Erin and Will have one child, David. Erin met Will while attending Appalachian State University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. After Erin graduated from college, she worked for a national medical company as a sales representative in North and South Carolina. Erin began her real estate career in 2005. She trained alongside her mother-in-law and is now partnered with Phyllis Bosomworth. Lauren is a native of the area, currently residing in Camden with her husband (Alex) and two children (Reese & Pierce). Alex is a local homebuilder, and Lauren enjoys contributing to the design process and adding just the right finishing touches to the properties. She has a great eye for home decor, which adds an additional flair to her real estate business.
When she's not working on real estate, Lauren enjoys traveling, attending her kids' sporting events, and working in her wedding-planning business.

Absolute rock star
We were on a tight timeline and had pretty specific standards when looking for a new house. We expected to have to compromise on a number of things, but Lauren helped us find the perfect place and went above and beyond to help us get it. Thru every step, she made sure everything was in order, followed up with every appointment, and even helped coordinate new flooring while we were out of town. She was, hands down, the best realtor experience I've had.

Great Communication and Honesty

We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor! From start to finish, our realtor was incredibly helpful, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about finding the right home for our family. Great to work with!
I was in an urgent situation with the rental I was in, which just added to the "normal" stress of buying a home. Although dealing with a very difficult & painful family situation herself, Jennifer was patient & accommodating with me the entire time. In the beginning, we didn't seem to be on the same "page," possibly due to what we were both dealing with. But over time, we learned & understood more about each other, & worked well together. I respect her for her devotion & commitment to her family, & greatly appreciate her patience with me. While I hope & pray that this house eliminates further moves, I would not hesitate to call on Jennifer again. Grateful for all her time & efforts. Thank you so much, Jennifer! Blessings...
