Natalie Santoyo was born in Greenville, NC into a church ministry family, allowing her to spend many years in a variety of communities in the south. Her father, and family were instrumental in starting and setting up schools and churches throughout Orlando, Alabama, Nashville and here in SE North Carolina. As one of six children, and dozens of cousins, she learned the value of pitching in and doing your part at a young age.
One super fun fact about Natalie is that she is an accomplished musician. As a member of The Bridges, Natalie performed with several of her family members. The pop/rock family band has a bright pop sound full of three-part harmonies and cite influences ranging from late-era Fleetwood Mac to the Beatles and Crosby, Still, Nash & Young.
Natalie is married to fellow musician and cosmetologist Alejandro, who she met while playing in Nashville, and they have 2 young daughters and one son on the way. Dare we say there might be another family musical group coming up? While she loved the other communities where she lived, she knew she wanted to come back to SE NC. Once back, she said she feels like she’s finally come home.
Natalie’s real estate career began years ago when she assisted two of Treasure’s top producing agents. She took a short break while her kids were young and is now back and ready to work hard for you. She has a special place in her heart for 1st time home buyers/sellers and often speaks with her peers about the joys of homeownership, of building equity, and taking that leap. She hopes to also specialize in military and VA buyers looking to settle down in the area after they’ve been stationed nearby.
She says that she “finds inspiration in meeting new people, seeing their homes, and helping them reach their real estate goals.” As a new homeowner herself, she takes great pride in helping other first time buyers and sellers navigate the journey through the real estate process.
Natalie’s philosophy centers around Servitude. Growing up in a minister’s family, she spent countless hours working side by side with her parents and siblings preparing food for 300 people and bringing her mother’s vision to life by serving it in their church’s program for the homeless. Natalie says, “The gratitude I have for being thrown into that, without a choice in the matter, is immense! I learned much more from that experience than I could have measured back then.” She brings this ideal to her personal and professional relationships. Saying “serving without expectations is a huge part of life. Being loyal, trustworthy, and genuine in all ways, and all relationships, is so important.” She brings this attitude to the table when she represents buyers and sellers in negotiations or navigating lending options.
When asked what her favorite thing is about living in SE North Carolina, Natalie replies, “It’s everything, the smells, the views, the small town caring communities…it just always feels like home.”
