She and her family raise chickens, have two dogs, a cat and her parent's own a small equestrian center/stable. With a teaching certificate from Tulane University and M.Ed from UNO, I taught Economics and History for eight years in the New Orleans Public Schools. This path was upended when Hurricane Katrina forced the closure of the city’s public schools. Needing a source of income with my growing family, Realtor friends encourage me to join them as a real estate agent. Thought this was only a temporary career change till Booker T. Washington High School was rebuilt; yet, during the city's rebuilding years, I found those classroom skills opened up an exciting new path for me as a Realtor. Those teaching years proved to be quite helpful in guiding clients, thru research and action plans, as they turn their goals into reality. And, it's fun!
