RateMyAgent Opens First U.S. Headquarters in Southern California; Brings CTO and VP Sales & Service to Helm Office
It’s not too often a company gets to say “we’ve made it.”
Especially more rare for an international company getting to say “We’ve made it…to Southern California.” We’ve drawn up the deeds, set up shop and opened our first-ever U.S. headquarters in downtown Carlsbad, CA, a hotbed of real estate innovation between the two sunniest cities on the West Coast– Los Angeles and San Diego.
…will be working closely with national and regional MLSs, brokerages and agents to ensure RateMyAgent’s products meet their evolving needs as their markets change.
Our ability to give real estate agents more control over legitimacy and verified reviews has made quite an impact. Since May we have signed 5 MLS partnerships, connecting us to more than 200,000 agents. These partnerships cover several of the major real estate markets, including California, Florida, Massachusetts and Michigan, with others coming soon.
Not only does the California footprint help our Stateside team better serve all agents in one of the most competitive regional markets in America, but we’ve also brought over our VP of Sales and Service, Gregor Hartnell and our co-founder and chief technology officer Ed Van Roosendaal from Australia to guide RateMyAgent’s services in new or rapidly expanding markets. It wasn’t just the great weather and good surf that brought them Stateside!
The two will be working closely with national and regional MLSs, brokerages and agents to ensure RateMyAgent’s products meet their evolving needs as their markets change.
Gregor has extensive experience in operations that will give our customers the best experience while we scale. From the start, he’ll be focused on acquiring and onboarding MLSs and helping agents understand the value of our platform via a superior customer experience.
Ed brings deep knowledge of the RateMyAgent platform technology and product that will guide our growth. Specifically, he’ll be working closely with the MLSs to integrate the platform into their respective environments.
The rest of our team have extensive MLS knowledge and deep real estate knowledge to best serve all agents. We’ll be making more announcements soon as we expand into MLSs across the country– stay tuned as we become available in your area.
